It was a morning like any other. Monica woke up that morning like every other day. She got out of bed and got ready for work. Monica worked at the daycare. She loved taking care of the kids. Monica hoped to have kids of her own one day but that was a different story. Today though felt a tad different for some reason. Monica couldn't quite put her finger on it but she just had this feeling that something special was going to happen. Something big. Monica didn't know how to feel about it. She was a girl of adventure. Oh well, no point on lingering over it.
When she was all set Monica made for her first stop of the day. Granny's diner. She normally stopped there for a morning drink. With a hot chocolate in hand she made her way to the daycare she worked at. Monica was normally the first in the building and today was no different. She liked to set things up for the children before they arrived. They would be arriving soon so Monica had to be quick. She put her drink down on one of the desk tops as she began to open the windows. That was when she felt a sudden tingling of her heartstrings. It was odd. She tried to waved it off as she walked away from the window when a sudden flash of light passed through causing her to stop dead in her tracks. What had just happened? Her mind started whirling with thoughts. With memories. Her head began to fill with memories of a forgotten life.
That was when a single word slipped her lips. "Robin." She had to find him. Without a second thought she left the building and just started walking. Walking to the center of town near the clock tower. She needed to find Robin.
